Description
The Ferrari 512M replaced the 512S that lost out to the Porsche 917s in the 1970 World Sportscar Championship. The M was lighter and more aerodynamically advanced and proved immediately faster than the ‘S’ version. Despite the improvements, Ferrari decided to concentrate its efforts elsewhere and the 512M was left to private teams: This model is powered by a sidewinder 23k S-can, comes unpainted and requires some assembly.
