The Audi R8C only appeared in the 1999 Le Mans 24hr. Unfortunately, its performance did not meet expectations and neither of the two R8Cs entered was was able to finish. Thereafter, Audi opted for an open cockpit version… the R8. Interestingly, the R8C was the basis for the Bentley EXP Speed 8 that won Le Mans in 2003. This model is unpainted and requires some assembly.
